About

I founded Lens with Benefits because organizations don’t just need a defensive shield; they need a sharp, strategic lens to identify opportunity and a partner who delivers tangible, long-term benefits to their institutional equity.

But don’t let that fool you. Across photography, writing, and web design, I’m closing in on two decades of experience — which means by the time I founded Lens with Benefits, I’d already made most of the mistakes so you wouldn’t have to.

I started Lens with Benefits because I believe every brand has a story worth telling — and most of them aren’t being told well enough. Photography and writing were always my first loves; two different languages that, when used together, have a way of stopping people mid-scroll and making them actually feel something. Web design came naturally from there, because a great story still needs a great stage — and your website is still the most important piece of real estate in your entire digital presence.

What Lens with Benefits brings to the table is simple, and rare: one roof, one voice, and a genuine obsession with capturing the whole picture. Not just what your brand looks like — but what it stands for, how it sounds, and why it matters. Authentic and captivating aren’t buzzwords here. They’re the whole point.

PROACTIVE PRESERVATION OVER REACTIVE ISOLATION

Too many traditional communications strategies suffer from a “shelter-in-place” mindset. When a crisis hits or an organization faces scrutiny, the default corporate reflex is to turtle—focusing solely on quiet preservation at the expense of public engagement.

We reject that framework. True reputation management isn’t built through silence; it is built through active advocacy, deliberate outreach, and sustained community engagement. We protect your institutional equity by leaning into your narrative, not hiding from it. Our core belief is that the most resilient reputation is one that actively celebrates and aligns with an organization’s foundational story, using captivating, strategic narratives to turn stakeholders into lifelong advocates.

THE INTERSECTIONAL ADVANTAGE

Navigating modern public sentiment requires an advisor who understands both the rigid mechanics of public sector governance and the agile demands of corporate affairs. Having driven high-impact communications across both landscapes, we operate with a unique, multi-dimensional advantage:

  • The Power of the Light Touch: We understand the nuance of modern media relations—knowing exactly when a subtle, calculated response (or intentional silence) will yield the precise strategic outcome required.

  • Demographic Narrative Architecture: We design and deploy sophisticated outreach campaigns structured to cast wide nets, successfully engaging diverse demographics across complex cultural and socioeconomic boundaries.

  • Fiscal Agility: True strategic craftsmanship isn’t dependent on a blank check. We possess the operational experience to engineer highly successful, metric-driven campaigns across both tight municipal budgets and expansive corporate allocations.

  • Information Counter-Warfare: In an era defined by rapid digital volatility, we specialize in defending organizational integrity and executing robust reputation threat mitigation while directly facing off against massive, coordinated disinformation campaigns.

PROVEN IMPACT IN HIGH-STAKES ARENAS

Our methodology isn’t theoretical—it is forged in high-pressure public environments where message control is paramount. We bring a proven track record of converting communication challenges into clear, measurable victories:

  • Hyper-Local Public Mobilization: Engineered a comprehensive 2020 Census community outreach initiative that drove a 40% increase in localized public response rates compared to the prior decade.

  • Municipal Crisis Infrastructure: Directed rapid-response information architecture and reputation threat mitigation for municipal offices and community leaders during critical public health initiatives.

  • High-Velocity Campaign Strategy: Spearheaded public affairs, narrative optimization, and stakeholder engagement for a historic New Jersey Assembly campaign, achieving record-breaking voter capture in highly competitive territories.

A RECEIPTS-DRIVEN APPROACH

We do not offer generic copywriting or piecemeal marketing tactics. Lens with Benefits was founded to provide medium-to-large enterprises, public institutions, and visionary leaders with a sharp diagnostic lens to evaluate narrative risk, paired with the dedicated infrastructure needed to secure long-term institutional benefits.

Every partnership we enter is built on a foundation of The Receipts; proven methodologies that transform communication from an operational expense into a measurable competitive driver. We don’t just manage your words; we secure your position.

Who do I think I am?

Built different.
Assembled poorly.

I’m a creator. I’ve built my professional career across five separate industries, but I’ve built my personal life across dozens of homes, states, and schools – and I’ve got the ADD to prove it.

Born in Florida and raised in Jersey with a heart that belongs to the West, I’ve always got a story to share. And most of them are true.

Aside from work, I’m a dedicated cinephile with a love of physical media, a diehard Lego fan, an avid city-building gamer, an architecture enthusiast, and a James Gunn/Chris Nolan devotee. I’m a writer and photographer for fun, as well. My religion follows three wise men you’ve probably never heard of. I’ve logged over 125,000 highway miles road tripping America. And, if you’re still reading this, I’m the co-creator of The Mourning After, a podcast about loss, grief, and friendship that I co-host with one of my closest friends.

My biggest hobby is hobbies, as my fiancée likes to say. And speaking of – today, I live in New Jersey with my beautiful fiancée and our black and white corgi. Having been together for 4 years but knowing each other for nearly ten, we like to laugh that we are “two halves of a whole idiot.”

I wouldn’t be doing this without her – so if it all goes to hell, blame her. (Love you, bug.)
