The Receipts
What some of my past work can tell you about our future.

Coastal Connections NJ
Coastal Connections Community NJ came to us needing a social media structure. They needed a voice, a look, and a reason for people to show up. We built out trifold brochures, flyers, and social media graphics consisting of member spotlights, meeting details, and chapter launch materials.

Meta Cafe
Metá Café had a new menu, new ownership, and a story worth telling. Within the walls of the Lambertville, NJ cafe, with a camera and no particular agenda, we captured the food, the space, and the people making it all happen. We then collaborated closely on their social media strategy and outreach initiatives.

Sunshine Story Media
A media company specializing in audio engineering and studio recording, owner Lindsey needed a digital presence that embodied her philosophy and her brand’s image; to shine on. With her logo in tow, we built her entire brand from the ground up from color palette and typography to her website. We provide ongoing support for their website and social media.

HollyHedge Estate
HollyHedge Estate engaged Lens with Benefits across two photo sessions to document every room of the property for use across their website, social media, and room booking platform. We photographed all rooms of their campus as well as the grounds during a lush springtime. We also provide ancillary support for their website presence.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Mia Isabella Photography
NYC-based photographer Mia Isabella brought us in to document the behind the scenes of a headshot session at Adelphi University, where she was photographing students ahead of graduation and internship applications. Our job was to stay out of the way and capture everything she was doing right. Good assignment.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Rebecca’s Headshots
Rebecca won a headshot session at a Lens with Benefits sponsored event and brought her father and business partner Mike along. The two co-founded a medical equipment repair company, and needed portraits that reflected both the professional and the personal. We shot along the waterfront in Bristol, PA.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Two River Theater Company
The Two River Theater Company has been a cornerstone of New Jersey’s arts community for decades. Their annual gala is where that community gathers in full. Attracting some of the state’s most prominent figures — including then-Governor Phil Murphy — we captured every moment.

BRAND IDENTITY | SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY | GRAPHIC DESIGN
The Mourning After Podcast
Hosted by two mid-30 somethings, The Mourning After podcast explores grief and loss in the context of both hosts losing their parents suddenly. Building an identity around that, we created a somber, melancholy identity for their brand while leaning into the dark humor of the discussions for their social media strategy.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Courtney’s Headshots
Fresh off winning the Guest Service Excellence Award from Visit Bucks County’s Travel and Tourism Week, Courtney needed headshots to match the moment. We spent an afternoon wandering New Hope, PA with three outfits and no fixed agenda, and found her good side every time.

Photography
HollyHedge Estate Book Ball
The Book Ball was a community event hosted at HollyHedge Estate bringing together readers and book lovers from across Bucks County for an evening of dinner, dessert, and a pop-up shop from a local bookstore. Lens with Benefits photographed and sponsored the event, and offered a complimentary photo session as a raffle prize.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Jersey Coast Family Law Art Gallery
Jersey Coast Family Law hosted an art gallery fundraiser in Red Bank to spotlight two local artists and bring their community together. We documented the evening as it unfolded; the artwork, the conversations, the step-and-repeat moments, and everything happening in between.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Family Portraits
A family traveled to Waikoloa Beach on the Big Island of Hawai’i to celebrate their matriarch’s 70th birthday. Six women across four generations were among what was captured. Under about as much natural light as you could ask for.

Lens with Benefits
Oh yeah, I’m counting it. Do you have any idea how much time it takes to get a tone and brand like this one right without being off-putting or offensive? A LONG time.
A look at Lens with Benefits doing what it does for everyone else, for itself. These brand materials represent the full range of what my agency offers: original photography, graphic design, print collateral, and web services, all built around a single cohesive visual identity. From the lens to the page to the screen. Benefits you won’t regret.

Past Work
And, of course, the work that got me here.

2022
Rutgers University
I led communications strategy for a division serving more than 110,000 stakeholders across nine subdivisions and fourteen departments. I partnered directly with senior institutional leadership on messaging, crisis communications, digital infrastructure, and content strategy.
I spearheaded the development of new resource hubs for the university’s procurement services division, the finance and administration department, and a university-wide Title XI access point for all Rutgers members. My work included a 50% improvement in WCAG accessibility compliance and a 55% reduction in coordination delays across departments.
Some of my website portfolio included University Finance and Administration, University Procurement Services, and eight sites under the Cornerstone Initiative.

2019
Direct Development PR
I served as the senior strategic communications and account lead for a diverse portfolio of public and private sector clients including municipalities, nonprofits, and enterprise organizations.
I built the agency’s PR and crisis communications practice from the ground up in real-time against the COVID-19 pandemic, drove 35% sustained year-over-year client growth, and produced a 110% increase in SEO-driven organic traffic. I also achieved 500% social media audience expansion across client accounts and mentored junior strategists and writers throughout my tenure.
Some of my clients included Town of Morristown, Fanwood Borough, Middlesex Borough, Netta Architects, ProStaff Physical Therapy Institute, and more.

2017
Miro Consulting
I managed enterprise client relationships and marketing strategy for a consulting firm serving major brands including General Dynamics and Marvel Entertainment. I developed integrated marketing plans, managed account portfolios, and served as the primary client liaison across high-profile engagements.
This role sharpened my ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships, deliver communications strategy in demanding, high-visibility environments, and develop my technical writing.

2017
Eliot Arlo Colon Campaign
I directed all communications, messaging, and outreach strategy for a New Jersey state assembly campaign. I managed day-to-day campaign operations, coordinated with media, and developed the candidate’s public-facing narrative across earned and owned channels.
This experience gave me foundational skills in rapid-response communications, message discipline, and public affairs strategy.

2016
Star News Group
I began my post-college career as a journalist covering local news, community affairs, and government for a regional publication. This foundation in reporting sharpened my instincts for storytelling, source development, deadline management, and translating complex information into clear, accessible prose — skills that have informed my communications work ever since.
